How to perform it
- Set a rope attachment at upper-chest to face height and grip it with thumbs back.
- Step back to create tension and stand tall with a braced core.
- Pull the rope toward your face, separating the ends and driving the elbows high and back.
- Pause briefly with hands beside your ears, then return under control.
Common mistakes
- Going too heavy and turning it into a high row with the lats.
- Letting the elbows drop so it stops hitting the rear delts.
- Jerking the weight instead of controlling both directions.
Sets & reps
3-4 sets of 12-20 reps.
